Rock On!

We always have some kind of hot-air balloon above our house on summer mornings, but today we got 5 (although you can't see all of them).

This is kindof a before and after of 3 stages. You can see the property line in the backyard and see where we started (since the neighbors have only done a little bit), what it looked like after having it graded, and what we're doing now. We are trying to get all but the smallest rocks gone. Steve has been a machine! He has done most of it. The other times when I've come out he's been nice enough to let me have the preferred rake. That's love.
The corner of our yard between the drivestrip and the purple hose that will, someday soon, be part of a sprinkler system. Also a few rough trenches just to see how deep we'll need to go. Our dirt is low enough that we don't need to go very far to trench then we'll just bring in lots of topsoil.

"I better get outside." What a helper.

You're dirt looks very nice. What a hard working family you guys are! I bet you can't wait until it's done. How fun will it be to lay in your own grass?!
