Paul and Marja and girls came up here today for a "photo shoot" of our little families. We went to a place up above Soldier Hollow called Cascade Springs and it was beautiful. Despite some interesting face pulling from all of us, Marja got some great shots and we are so pleased. I may post some of them, but here's one for starters.

Ahoy matey! Great photo. I've only been to Cascade Springs in the winter on snowmobiles. We ought to try it out in friendlier weather.
haha. funny that you brought up the pirate day. here in portland they tried to break the record for the most pirates in one place. mckay would have died, but we only saw it on the news after. cute pic!
What a cute Kate face--you're right, it's like the line smile, but a little happier. Her hair's getting longer too. Man, the things we miss when we live half way across the country. It's a fabulous picture of you guys and the fact that both of your kids are responding in a 'picture-worthy' fashion is most impressive. Love it!
